The easy way to repaired a broken leg in the Vestax PDX-2000. It takes 5 minutes. You will need a screw M6 or M8 x 70mm or 40mm, glue (for gum or plastic, it can be super glue), and pliers.
How to tuning crossfader Rane TTM 56, 57sl, 62 | sixty two | cut-in point | fader tuning | curve |

A simple way to reduce the cut in point in the Rane 56 lub 57sl. Tune your fader and cut faster. You would need 4 lighters, screwdriver and pliers.
Worked a treat. Thanks man!
can i use a rubber material to reduce the port space of my rane ttm 57sl?
I just ordered one on FB market and was sent to me with broken separated feet. Smh. This video saved me money and time with just using the same factory turntable feet and replacing the broken plastic pieces with new bolt screws that I chose to be plastic as well.! Do NOT throw away your broken turntable feet they are indeed repairable especially with the help of this video! Thank you fellow!!
What do you mean you used plastic instead of metal- a plastic threaded bolt?
Standard 5/16 in, 1.5 inch screw worked too
This video is still helping people many years since it was posted. Had the decks boxed for several years; just unpacked it and fixed the feet. Thanks for uploading the video!!
Stanton SK-6F - great mixer and with an opitcal fader!
Hi there , it's a good idea of how to reduce the lag , I got a ttm56 long time, still works but I have a problem.... I've reduced the lag moving up the magnets at both sides at the fader and I reduced the lag but there's a problem that when I slightly open the fader I can hear already music before it's fully open! I don't know if I can explain it good with my English but yes , I hear the sound before the fader it's completely open, the lights signals of the mixer don't light but you can ear the sound even if vary low . Maybe it's just the olds rane faders mixers , who knows. I can still scratch good the cut of the sound it's clean but I would like to have less lag and still have clean and precise cuts .. Peace
How do you clean it?
Truly a lifesaver in 2019! Thank u so much :)
Thanks for the video. I figured it out. Fader was stiff on one side and noticed one of the rails was slightly bent.
How’d you get the housing off?
Hello ! What’s name of this lighter ?! Thanks for this tuto !! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Nice solution, yet I'd take a different approach, as I figure the plastic functions as a predetermined breaking point. Therefore I would use the plastic parts, re-glue them, but using a wooden spit the size of the hollow part of the plastic one as some sort of stabilizer. Maybe a shish kebab spit has the right size.
How could you possibly need less. These faders are beast. I mean any less cut in it will bleed the other channel with the slightest bump or rumble.
ok, this just happened to me. what kind of glue is THAT or what should I use? I can't see it. and 40mm or 50mm?
You can use even super glue.
some tweaker shit right here
So. First of all thanks for a great video. Enjoyed and made almost the same with my turntables. but with small changes. I used different bolts. with cone heads. the size M8 40mm - fits perfect. photos.google.com/share/AF1QipM-8PogSR5nI4EIlfHZB3mdEXKpMf5-rroi3d92na5o_EyoQJBEVICvgPpzwbRezw?key=VVZLRXp2Z3puMDJ3MC1QWXhXaW1oN1pDYTlLNkpR
WHAT IS THIS SONG??? It's awesome.
I find on the rane 62 the cross fader to short.. How I add more length? Sorry for my stupid ness
Hey man Great tut! BUT the easiest way to increase or decrease the cut in time is to bend the magnets / small knobs in the left and right corner ... So you can find ur personal adjustment Peace :)
dj fu drumbule Yes, you can do that in the way you say but is risky way and i don't think you can do it cut in point so close
+drScratchDIY Well, i made it this way with my ttm56 and an other 2 friends of mine + a few of my Students. It works perfect and i cant see any bigger risk there.
+dj fu drumbule the risk of breaking the magnets isn't a big risk?

Very nice tutorial but 70 mm screws are too long - 45 mm are perfect ;)
thanks very good tutorial... Are you tried with only one seal? I asked myself the question for my rane 57. Thanks peace
co to jest za kawałek tej???
THANK YOU. I just got a used Sixty-One (my TTM 56 of 11 years still works perfectly, but--with SL1--Serato DJ is forcing an upgrade) and there is 2 mm of space between off and on with the crossfader! I can't believe it. You've helped a lot.
Ah, yes, very interessting and cool. But my problem is the removal of the broken screw part from the screw thread of the turntable. Have you any suggestions for this?
opening the turntable!
David Meireles Ok thanks. This was what i guessed. Not my favorite solution, but anyway, my turntables need intact feet. Thanks to the uploader for the how to.
its only a metal cover, u take that apart, and attach the new screws... it's quite easy
i see, i see, but opening a piece of technic ( 450€ worth ) is difficult for me, because, it's my turni and aawww, don't hurt them :D ... you know what i mean.
You are a legend
:)
Coach bolt M8, 50mm with a 10mm cap is the ideal size. Also, after glueing, fasten the feet to the removed bottom plate of the turntable. This will allow some pressure on the rubber to plastic connection of the foot causing a better bond.
+nikmak 50mm are too long in my case. i used M8 by 40 mm with cone head - fits perfect
I vaguely remember that you are probably correct (y)
Pin this to top please! 👌
damn u save me dude.....one of my family members broke all 4 of the them!!!! THANK YOU SUBSCRIBED!!!!
No prob. im happy
Wot size bolt please :)
You've saved me a lot money.. Thanks for the upload!
If you got too much space put more seals. Cut-in will be shorter.
Thanks for the video btw. I am having cut in issues. Too much space
How do the washers from the lighters work better than the original ones?
